The KijFit team consists of young, enthusiastic employees who regard sustainability as an integral part of health. Let us introduce ourselves to you here!
Kije Brinkhoff
Hi! My name is Kije Brinkhoff, and I help people through physical therapy, performance training, ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy), and mindfulness coaching. I am also currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Psychosomatic Physiotherapy at Utrecht University of Applied Sciences.
What drives me is caring for the whole person. I believe that a person is more than just a body that needs to heal. Health is about the balance between body, mind, and environment. My approach is holistic: I consider physical complaints as well as the mental and emotional aspects that often accompany them. This means that, alongside my biomechanical knowledge, I also draw on my experience with mindfulness and psychological techniques to truly help clients move forward.
Through my own experiences, such as recovering from a serious car accident, I know how important it is to receive care that goes beyond the physical. That experience taught me that health is not linear but complex and multifaceted. I therefore always approach my clients with care and attention to their overall well-being.
Connection is a key concept in my work. I believe that true, sustainable change happens when there is a strong connection between client and therapist. I take the time to really get to know my clients so that we can work together on healing from a place of shared understanding. This personal approach helps people feel heard and allows us to work on their health on a deeper level.
In addition, expertise is central to how I work. With years of experience and ongoing education, I ensure that I provide my clients with the best possible care, based on the latest scientific insights and my own practical experience. I continuously develop myself, both as a therapist and as an individual, so that I can always respond knowledgeably to the unique needs of my clients. My broad knowledge and holistic approach allow me to address health issues from multiple perspectives.
At KijFit, my goal is to provide sustainable care with attention to the individual and our society. Together, we take steps not only toward physical recovery but also toward a better balance in life.”
Jesse
I am Jesse, born and raised in Amsterdam and graduated in December 2020 from the Hogeschool van Amsterdam as a physiotherapist. Since June 2021 I have been happy to be part of team Kijfit!
In my spare time I like to play sports and play the guitar. Both hobbies require sustainable use of your body, otherwise it is unsustainable. I like to look and think along with you where you run into obstacles. This way we can look for a suitable approach together.
Sustainability of body, but also of mind is central to me in physiotherapy. By taking care of your body in this way, we can work on your personal goals in a realistic way, so that you can continue to do the things you love to do!
Broer
My name is Broer Hofman. I grew up in Ransdorp and I joined the KijFit team in February 2023! I’m currently working on my final project for my Sports Marketing studies at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
In October 2022, I completed the Personal Trainer course at MILO Education. With great passion and enthusiasm, I love helping people work on their fitness. For me, a healthy body is the foundation of a healthy life. My passion for a healthy lifestyle began at a young age, and since then, I’ve learned how essential consistency and enjoyment are in reaching your health goals. I believe everyone can benefit from an active lifestyle, and I’m here to support you on that journey.
I always tailor my training sessions to the specific needs and goals of my clients. Whether you’re just starting out or already an experienced athlete, I make sure you’ll have a challenging and enjoyable workout every time.
In addition to giving training sessions at KijFit, I also play soccer at the club where KijFit is located. I’m proudly the captain of a team of friends. I would describe myself as an enthusiastic and passionate trainer who’s eager to help you become the best version of yourself.
Let’s get to know each other! Join us for an trial bootcamp session on Friday morning, or drop by for a chat!
