Kije Brinkhoff
Hi! My name is Kije Brinkhoff. I have been working as a physiotherapist for over 10 years, and in recent years I have increasingly focused on the interaction between body and mind. I am currently completing my Master’s degree in Psychosomatic Physiotherapy at Utrecht University of Applied Sciences and, aside from my master’s thesis, I have graduated.
From my background in physiotherapy, I have also specialized in ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy), mindfulness, and performance training. I use these insights not only to help people recover from physical complaints, but also to support them in dealing with stress, tension, and improving their overall functioning in daily life.
What drives me is caring for the person as a whole. I believe that a person is more than just a body that needs to recover. Health is about the balance between body, mind, and environment. My approach is holistic: I look at physical complaints, but also at the mental and emotional aspects that are often connected to them. This means that, alongside my biomechanical knowledge, I apply my experience with mindfulness and psychological techniques to truly help my clients move forward.
Through my own experiences, such as recovering from a serious traffic accident, I understand how important it is to receive care that goes beyond the physical. This experience taught me that health is not linear, but complex and multifaceted. That is why I always approach my clients with care and attention for their overall well-being.
Connection is a key concept in my work. I believe that real, lasting change happens when there is a strong connection between client and therapist. I take the time to truly get to know my clients, so that we can work together on recovery from a shared understanding. This personal approach helps people feel heard and allows us to work on their health at a deeper level.
Expertise is also central to how I work. Through years of experience and continuous education, I ensure that I provide the best possible care, based on the latest scientific insights and my own practical experience. I continue to develop myself, both as a therapist and as a person, so that I can always respond expertly to the unique needs of my clients. My broad knowledge and holistic approach enable me to address health issues from multiple perspectives.
In addition to individual guidance, I provide workshops and training sessions for organizations and teams. These focus on topics such as stress, workplace health, and effective communication.
At KijFit, my goal is to provide sustainable care with attention to the individual. Together, we take steps – not only toward physical recovery, but also toward a better balance in life.
Broer
My name is Broer Hofman. I grew up in Ransdorp and since February 2023 I have been a proud member of the KijFit team! About a year ago, I graduated from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, where I studied Sports Marketing.
In October 2022, I completed my Personal Trainer certification at MILO Education. With great passion and enthusiasm, I enjoy helping people work on their fitness. For me, a healthy body is the foundation of a healthy life. My passion for a healthy lifestyle started at a young age, and since then I have experienced how important consistency and enjoyment are in achieving your health goals. I believe that everyone can benefit from an active lifestyle, and I’m here to guide you along the way.
I always tailor my training sessions to the specific needs and goals of my clients. Whether you are just starting out or already an experienced athlete, I make sure every session is both challenging and enjoyable.
I support people in areas such as energy, gut health, and hormonal balance. Together, we look at factors like nutrition, movement, recovery, and daily habits—so that you not only become fitter, but also feel more energetic and balanced.
In addition to providing training at KijFit, I also work as an online lifestyle coach. I would describe myself as an enthusiastic and passionate trainer who is committed to helping you become the best version of yourself.
